     Edward Guardhouse was born between 10 December 1847 and 2 April 1848 at Penrith, Cumberland.1,2 He married Sarah (?) between 1863 and 2 April 1871.1 Edward Guardhouse was Stone Mason in 1871.1 He appeared in the 1871 census at 5 Fallowfield yard, Penrith; Edward Guardhouse, age 23, head of household, stone mason, married to Sarah Guardhouse, age 19, stone mason's wife.1 He died on 9 December 1871.3
