Roger Iddison was Rope and twine maker in 1834 at Aiskew, Bedale.4 He was Rope Maker between 1841 and 1851 at 34 Market Place, Bedale.3,2 He married Susanah Place, daughter of Thomas Place, on 9 September 1854 at Parish Church, Bedale; Witnessed by Robert Harrison, Elizabeth Breckin, Roger Iddison Junior & Thomas Watson.5,6,7 Roger Iddison was Rope Maker & Guano Merchant in 1857 at Market Place, Bedale.8 He was Rope Manufacturer on 27 March 1867.9 He was Net maker before 10 June 1878.10 He died on 10 June 1878 at Poet's Corner, Long Millgate, Manchester; About 70 years old. Found dead from natural causes.10
