Annie Kitchen was born on 25 January 1857 at Middlegate, Penrith.1,2 She was the daughter of Robert Kitchen and Sarah Yarker.3 As of between 1868 and 1878,her married name was Simpson. Annie Kitchen married Thomas Simpson on 29 July 1873 at Register Office, Penrith; Witnessed by Thomas H. Barton and mark of Sarah Guardhouse.4 As of 1881, Annie Kitchen lived at 49 Sutherland Street, West Derby, Liverpool.1 She was Dressmaker in 1881.1 She was Dressmaker in 1901.5 She appeared in the household of Thomas Simpson in the 1901 census at 149 Earl Road, West Derby, Liverpool.5 Annie Kitchen died on 16 September 1924 at age 67; Died Age 65.6 She was buried after 16 September 1924 at Kirkdale Cemetery, Longmoor Lane, Liverpool.7
